Peter has over 15 years experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement and strategy with leading FMCG and retailer companies in Australia.

Peter created the Fulcrum GPO in order to support Australian food companies to improve their competitiveness and profitability in the face of ongoing pressure to reduce cost and increase efficiencies. He is a strong believer in the critically important role that the food industry plays in Australia.

Before creating the Fulcrum GPO, Peter developed and implemented a sourcing program for Coles’ private label product range, worked as a management consultant at A.T.

Kearney, and in various operations roles with Mars, Kraft and SPC-Ardmona. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School, Masters of Engineering from RMIT and Bachelor of Science from Melbourne University.

Ana Garnek

Co-founder of Fulcrum Procurement

Ana has successfully delivered positive outcomes in a wide range of projects with large organisations participating actively in sourcing strategies, supply chain, process improvement and spend reduction projects. She has also run numerous end-to-end Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for various private label brand food products and also for freight and warehousing services.

Before founding Fulcrum Procurement Ana worked as Management consultant for AT Kearney, Logiworx and Portland Group and held several roles in procurement and supply chain at Nestle and Pepsico.

Ana is an Industrial Engineer graduated from UNC, Argentina and also has a Master in Technology Management degree from UNSW, Sydney, Australia.
