Fulcrum has created a Group Procurement Organisation (GPO) that offers collective purchasing agreements to food manufacturers in Australia. We leverage the purchasing power of a group of businesses to obtain discounts from vendors by aggregating the demand for supplies and services on behalf of our clients.
Members can benefit in 3 ways: use one Fulcrum agreements in place, join a tender, or go solo.
How It Works
Fulcrum tenders for clients’ consolidated materials or service requirements and creates umbrella supply agreements.
Alternatively if an umbrella agreement already exists with a vendor, a GPO member may chose to purchase from that contract if prices are competitive.
GPO members order goods or services via the Procurement Platform.
Vendors receive the order and deliver goods or services to the GPO members.
GPO members pay Vendors the agreed discounted price via the Procurement Platform.
